Indigenous Justice Council Office Renovations

Multiple Locations

Client: Indigenous Justice Council
Completion Date: December 2024

Kalmar Construction successfully completed renovations for the Indigenous Justice Council across five locations: Port Hardy, Williams Lake, Burns Lake, Kamloops, and Creston. Each project focused on transforming existing spaces into modern, functional offices that reflect the Council’s cultural values and operational needs. Key upgrades included reception areas, meeting rooms, and workspaces designed to improve efficiency while creating a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.

A key highlight of the renovations was the integration of cultural design elements. Feature walls with Indigenous-inspired art and murals were incorporated to celebrate and honor the heritage of the communities being served. Thoughtful layouts, ergonomic furniture, and enhanced lighting systems were installed to ensure both comfort and productivity in these revitalized spaces.

Kalmar Construction worked closely with the Indigenous Justice Council to deliver these projects on time and within budget, ensuring the vision for each location was brought to life. These renovations stand as a testament to Kalmar’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, collaboration, and respect for cultural identity.
